Chapter 18: The Beaches of Rishi

Even though the Revanites must have been expecting them, the quartet was simply more than the cultists could handle. Nadia and Kayora spearheaded the assault, drawing most of the enemy’s fire, while Mako and Vera picked off cultists at range with extreme prejudice. Vera was even able to take out enemies that weren’t close enough to join the battle thanks to her sniping abilities, which often disrupted the cult’s attempts to mount any sort of organized defense or counterattack. The tropical setting served as a dissonant backdrop to the carnage being left behind as they pushed toward the satellite dish that housed the jammer.

While they had hoped to complete their objective before the fleets arrived, it was not to be. Theron notified them that both the Republic and Imperial armadas had dropped out of hyperspace and were gearing up for battle. This spurred on the strike team even further, as the quicker they disabled the jamming frequency, the fewer lives were lost in orbit above Rishi. As they reached the final stretch, Mako broke off for a spell to showcase her tech skills. She was only gone for minutes, but suddenly the Revanite anti-air cannons were firing on their own forces, before being disabled completely, eliminating one more threat to the pilots in the sky.

The jamming equipment sat on a large circular platform, raised above the surface of the water. Kayora, Nadia, Vera, and Mako made their way up a set of stairs, the wooden planks beneath their feet slick with seawater from the occasional wave. Upon reaching the platform, they didn’t see any further cultist forces, which only meant there had to be some security measure in place to prevent their advancement.

Sure enough, before they’d even made it past the outer edge, a two-legged attack walker plummeted down from one of the Revanite ships in orbit, slamming onto the wooden platform with enough force to cause the team to stumble, though they all managed to stay on their feet. Honestly, it was surprising that the platform itself was able to withstand such an impact. Wasting no time, the walker went on the offensive, and the quartet scattered, forcing the walker to pick its target. Vera rocketed up with her jetpack, while Nadia and Kayora darted in and out around the walker’s legs, attempting to slice through the thick armor plating present. Mako mostly focused on getting to the control console for the jamming satellite, while occasionally throwing some interference devices that scrambled the walker’s targeting systems.

After a concentrated effort, Kayora was able to sever the walker’s left leg, causing it to topple to the side, falling off of the platform into the water below. By the time Vera and the two Jedi had met back up with Mako, she had finished disabling the satellite, and both Theron and Lana had managed to convince their respective factions of the spies in their midst. As the strike team looked up into the sky, they were pleased to see no further laser blasts being exchanged, and several cruisers were already leaving, disappearing from the sky as they jumped to hyperspace.

It was readily apparent that Revan wasn’t done, and his plans extended to something that they still weren’t aware of, but Theron and Lana assured them they’d be in touch once they got wind of where Revan was headed next. Vera and Mako commandeered a Revanite shuttle to head back to the village and offered Kayora and Nadia a ride, but the Jedi declined, deciding to use the walk back to decompress.

It was late afternoon as Kayora and Nadia walked along the shoreline on their way back to the village. The waves lapped at the sand, leaving a wavy delineation between light and dark as they retreated. Animal calls could be heard in the distance, somewhere among the trees that grew denser farther away from the water. The sun warmed the sand and the air, making the temperature ideal for taking a stroll.

Their fingers interlocked, Nadia and Kayora were in no hurry to get back to the ship. They had already informed the rest of the crew that they were on their way, and Theron and the others were probably either already off planet or doing more digging into where Revan might go next. Though Nadia knew that they’d be called upon sooner rather than later to end the threat, right now they deserved a little break, especially given the overwhelming success of the previous mission. Only a handful of casualties were recorded from either side, which would have been exponentially more if they hadn’t been able to take the jammer down as fast as they had.

“I’m proud of you.” Nadia startled at Kayora’s sudden statement, turning to look at her master.

“What do you mean?”

Kayora laughed, the sound sending tingles of happiness through Nadia’s veins.  “I mean I’m proud of you. You were so steadfast, so determined our entire campaign on Rishi. Your skills have improved immeasurably, and your confidence is growing as well.” Nadia felt her cheeks flush, but Kayora wasn’t done. “I also heard about the pirate that you spared. I can’t put into words how that makes me feel. I’m just so thankful to have such a respectful and intelligent padawan.”

Unable to hold back any more, Nadia grabbed her master by the shoulders and pulled her down into an urgent kiss. She saw Kayora’s eyes widen in surprise before closing, moving their lips against one another for a few more moments before ending.

“I hope that expresses my gratitude,” Nadia said playfully, their faces still in close proximity to one another. She bit her lip as Kayora reached up and tucked a loose strand of hair behind Nadia’s ear, letting her fingers linger on the skin there. Nadia leaned forward, placing another gentle kiss on her master’s lips.

“I don’t think I’ll ever tire of that,” Kayora said, a dreamy smile on her face. She drew back, reaching for Nadia’s hand as she started to walk again.

Glancing up and down the beach, Nadia confirmed that there was nobody in sight. Not that she expected there to be, given they were currently wandering a beach that was somewhere between the village and the secluded ex-Revanite compound, but she still wanted to be sure. Grabbing Kayora’s hand, Nadia let herself fall down into the sand, her backside hitting the miniscule grains with a dull thud. Nearly toppling from the sudden yank, Kayora managed to keep her balance, now standing next to her seated padawan, their hands still clasped together. Another tug, accompanied by a hopeful look, caused Kayora to forgo even asking the question, instead sighing and taking a seat next to Nadia, who immediately scooted closer, pressing into Kayora’s side.

“Isn’t it a beautiful view,” Nadia murmured, a statement which Kayora couldn’t disagree with. The sun was still high enough to keep the land in light, but the shadows were growing longer, and the light was of a softer type, not the harsh light that was present when the sun was at its peak. It gave all the flora a gentler aura, smoothing out the hard edges of the leaves and bark.

“It truly is.” Kayora turned her head, only to find her Padawan already staring at her, a smile dancing on her lips. She laughed softly. “You were talking about me, weren’t you?”

“I will neither confirm nor deny that,” Nadia replied, but the look on her face all but confirmed it. As though she had been planning it from the start, which maybe she had, Nadia swung her leg over Kayora, pushing the older woman onto her back as she straddled her.

“Here? Are you sure?” A mote of concern was obvious in Kayora’s voice as Nadia followed her master to the ground.

“I’m sure.” She pressed their lips together, the low intensity kiss only lasting a moment before Nadia pushed her tongue forward, slipping it into the Twi’lek’s mouth and exploring it as if it was the first time all over again. Their armor made it a little uncomfortable, but while Nadia was okay with a makeout session on a secluded beach, she definitely wanted to keep her body mostly covered, as well as ready in case they were needed. Some things she wanted to keep behind closed doors, and she was pretty sure Kayora felt the same way.

Kayora placed her hands on Nadia’s shoulders, pushing her up and breaking their kiss, then ducking her head forward to start licking and sucking on Nadia’s pale neck. Letting out a long groan, Nadia closed her eyes and focused on the sensations of Kayora’s cool tongue running along her skin, occasionally being broken up by a firm press of her lips. The trail of wetness being left behind somehow turned Nadia on more, and she began to grind her hips against her master. A particularly hard suck had her wrapping one hand behind Kayora’s head, holding them together more firmly. As she repositioned, she brushed one of Kayora’s lekku, drawing out a brief hiss. Nadia’s eyes popped open, as a lewd thought that she’d had in the recent past jumped to the forefront of her mind.

Angling away from Kayora, she waited until the other woman ceased lavishing affection on Nadia’s neck and looked at her, a questioning look in her eyes. “I want to try something,” Nadia said, suddenly very nervous with what she was about to ask. Kayora continued to look at her expectantly, and after several attempts to verbalize her request, Nadia decided that showing would be better than telling. “I, I don’t really know how to say it, so I’m just going to do it. Tell me if I’m going too far and I’ll stop, okay?” The fact that Kayora immediately nodded her agreement sent a bloom of warmth through Nadia’s chest, amazed that they had this level of trust between them.

Taking a steadying breath, Nadia moved until they were back in a sitting position, with Nadia in Kayora’s lap. Gingerly, she reached over the Twi’lek’s shoulder and wrapped a hand around one of her lekku, noticing Kayora shudder slightly. Slowly, she brought her hand back, bringing the lekku with her, until it was draped in front of Kayora, with Nadia holding down close to the end of it. The other woman’s eyes kept fluttering closed and soft sounds slipped out of her mouth as Nadia stroked a finger down the side of the lekku. Kayora certainly wasn’t lying when she said her lekku became sensitive. Tipping her head down, Nadia stuck out her tongue and leisurely dragged it up the beautiful lekku, coaxing an equally beautiful moan out of Kayora, who had to plant her hands in the sand behind her to keep her upright.

If this was how she reacted to a lick, Nadia couldn’t wait for the reaction to what she actually was working up to do. A few more cautious licks, and then Nadia straightened up, before bringing the end of the lekku to her lips. She waited for Kayora’s eyes to open back up, and she stared into those purple irises as she slowly pushed the tip of the lekku past her lips and into her waiting mouth. The strangled sound that Kayora made was utterly sinful, sending a bolt of heat directly between Nadia’s legs as she ran her tongue over the lekku, swirling it around the tip. Bobbing her head slightly, Nadia felt the lekku twitch in her mouth, causing her to wonder how much control Kayora had over the appendages. She continued to suck and lick, watching the Twi’lek’s face contort in pleasure as her breathing grew rapid and shallow.

With her free hand, Nadia stroked the side of Kayora’s face, admiring her parted flushed lips and tightly closed eyes. Her thumb ventured too close to those lips, and Kayora turned her head, sucking Nadia’s thumb into her own mouth. The padawan was surprised by the intensity at which Kayora enveloped her thumb, spurring her to up her own effort, pushing the lekku farther back into her mouth. Sliding it out, she could see it glistening with her spit, before she brought it in again, sucking hard against the seal her lips made around the green skin.

Kayora’s vocalizations grew louder, though muffled by the fact that her mouth was closed, still aggressively pulling at Nadia’s thumb. Her breath was coming out of her nose in short hot bursts that tickled the back of Nadia’s hand, before finally, after one particularly deep thrust of the lekku that nearly made Nadia gag, Kayora’s mouth dropped open in a silent scream. Nadia felt her master’s body stiffen up, before shaking under her, several massive tremors running from head to toe as Kayora kept her eyes scrunched shut, her mouth open but voiceless. The lekku in Nadia’s mouth twitched several times as well, much more violently than before, so Nadia pulled back, letting the spit-soaked appendage slide from her mouth onto Kayora’s chest.

At this point her master’s arms had given out and she had fallen back on the sand, the occasional shudder still pulsing through her. Nadia lowered herself down until she was laying on top of the older woman, wrapping her arms around her as best she could as she nuzzled into her neck, peppering small kisses along the skin there. After a final ragged exhale, Kayora’s eyes opened and she blearily blinked as she locked gazes with her padawan.

“That … that was … wow.”

“Did you come?” Nadia asked curiously. When Kayora nodded, she couldn’t help the smile that split her face. Pressing more kisses to her master’s neck, she moved up until she connected their lips, feeling the smile on Kayora’s as well as her own. “I have so many more questions about your lekku, but we’ll save that for another time.”

Letting out a huff of laughter, Kayora nodded. “Maybe when I’m fully present again. I think my mind is still a little hazy.”

“That’s alright, we can stay here just a little longer, right?” Nadia looked at her master with her best pleading expression, though she was fairly certain she didn’t need it for this request.

Kayora pressed a soft kiss to Nadia’s forehead. “Yeah, we can.” Then they both closed their eyes and took a well deserved rest, pleasantly tangled up in each other. The crew knew they were going to be a while anyway. What was a couple hours more?
